5. AI-Powered Features and Data Processing

Wellness+ uses artificial intelligence to provide personalized nutrition coaching, meal plan generation, and workout recommendations. These features are powered by Anthropic (Claude AI).

What data is sent to the AI service:

• Your calorie and macronutrient targets
• Food preferences and dietary restrictions
• Messages you send to the AI Nutrition Coach
• Workout preferences (duration, equipment, training style)
• Meal structure preferences (meals per day, cooking time, batch prep)

How your data is protected:

• All data is transmitted securely via HTTPS/TLS encryption
• Anthropic does not use your data to train their AI models
• Data is processed in real-time and not persistently stored by the AI provider
• We do not send your name, email, or account credentials to the AI service
• Only the minimum data necessary for generating your personalized content is shared

Your consent:

Before using AI-powered features for the first time, you will be asked to review and consent to this data sharing. You can revoke your consent at any time in your Profile settings, which will disable AI-powered features. We will never share your data with AI services without your explicit permission.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase with row-level security policies. Payment information is handled by Stripe and never stored on our servers. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and implement industry-standard security measures. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Opt out of marketing communications
• Disable push notifications through your device settings
