Planos Nutrition, Inc. ("Planos," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Wellness+ application and website at my.planosnutrition.co (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including:

• Account information (name, email address, password)
• Profile details (age, weight, height, dietary preferences, health goals)
• Nutrition and meal plan data you enter or generate
• Workout and exercise tracking data
• Payment and billing information (processed securely by Stripe)
• Communications with our coaching team

We automatically collect:

• Device information (device type, operating system, browser type)
• Usage data (pages visited, features used, session duration)
• Push notification tokens (if you enable notifications)
• IP address and approximate location

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Generate personalized meal plans, recipes, and workout programs
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Send push notifications and service-related communications
• Respond to your requests and provide customer support

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Service providers: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), and Anthropic (AI processing)
• Your coach or nutritionist: if you are enrolled in a coaching program
• Legal authorities: when required by law or to protect rights and safety

5. AI-Powered Features and Data Processing

Wellness+ uses artificial intelligence to provide personalized nutrition coaching, meal plan generation, and workout recommendations. These features are powered by Anthropic (Claude AI).

What data is sent to the AI service:

• Your calorie and macronutrient targets
• Food preferences and dietary restrictions
• Messages you send to the AI Nutrition Coach
• Workout preferences (duration, equipment, training style)
• Meal structure preferences (meals per day, cooking time, batch prep)

How your data is protected:

• All data is transmitted securely via HTTPS/TLS encryption
• Anthropic does not use your data to train their AI models
• Data is processed in real-time and not persistently stored by the AI provider
• We do not send your name, email, or account credentials to the AI service
• Only the minimum data necessary for generating your personalized content is shared

Your consent:

Before using AI-powered features for the first time, you will be asked to review and consent to this data sharing. You can revoke your consent at any time in your Profile settings, which will disable AI-powered features. We will never share your data with AI services without your explicit permission.

6. Connected Calendars (Google Workspace APIs)

If you choose to connect a calendar, Wellness+ requests read-only access to your calendar events through the Google Calendar API. Connecting is optional, and nothing about your calendar is accessed unless you grant it.

What we access. Event titles, times, locations and whether you have accepted an invitation, for the day in question only. We do not access attachments, attendee contact details, or any other Google service.

How we use it. Solely to tailor your nutrition guidance to your day. Knowing that you have back-to-back meetings over lunch, or a dinner out, or an early flight, is what lets your assistant and your coach give advice that fits the day you are actually having.

How we store it. We do not store your calendar events. They are read when needed and used to produce that day's guidance. Your Google access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted at rest and are used only to read your calendar.

How we share it. We do not sell calendar data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties. Where a message referencing your schedule is produced with AI assistance, the relevant details are processed by Anthropic under the terms in section 5, and are not used to train any model. Your coach can see the coaching messages that result.

Disconnecting. You can disconnect your calendar at any time in Integrations, which deletes our tokens, or revoke access directly in your Google Account security settings.

Wellness+ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase with row-level security policies. Payment information is handled by Stripe and never stored on our servers. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and implement industry-standard security measures. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Opt out of marketing communications
• Disable push notifications through your device settings

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the app or sending you a notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
